CINCINNATI, OHIO: IShowSpeed's Twitch channel experienced a rapid increase of 100,000 new followers after being unbanned, even though no live streams are currently being broadcast.

Popular content creator IShowSpeed made a triumphant return to Twitch on Tuesday, October 10, after being permanently banned in December 2021.

The ban, which resulted from an on-air incident involving fellow streamer Adin Ross, initially left the Twitch star's future on the platform in question.

However, since his unban, IShowSpeed has managed to attract an astounding 100K new followers to his Twitch channel, all without even streaming a single live broadcast.

When IShowSpeed's suspension was lifted, he had approximately 130,500 followers on his Twitch channel. Just days after his return, the follower count skyrocketed to an impressive 242,000, marking a remarkable surge of 112,000 new followers in a short period, according to Dexerto.

This astonishing growth has not gone unnoticed, prompting many to speculate about the potential impact on the Twitch community when IShowSpeed decides to go live on the platform.

IShowSpeed's rapid ascent in follower count brings an exciting prospect to the table.

It implies that IShowSpeed could soon stream alongside his colleague, Kai Cenat, on Twitch—a feat previously hindered by Twitch's community guidelines.

“You may not facilitate a suspended user on your own channel, either by restreaming their content or hosting them directly,” reads the guidelines.

The platform's strict rules forbade any interaction between a suspended user and another user's channel, even in the form of a phone call or Discord call.

As IShowSpeed's ban is now in the past, this opens up the opportunity for the duo to collaborate in real time and potentially entertain their combined fan base.

IShowSpeed experienced an unexpected turn of events as YouTube terminated his in-real-life (IRL) streams in India due to alleged "policy violations."

While the precise cause of the termination remains somewhat murky, fans are speculating that copyrighted Bollywood music played during the streams may have triggered the action.

IShowSpeed's decision to visit India captured the attention of his fan base as he fulfilled a long-standing desire to explore the vibrant country.

His fascination with Indian Cricketer, Virat Kohli, and the legendary 'Tunak Tunak Man' Daler Mehndi, served as the driving force behind his trip.

On Thursday, October 12, IShowSpeed landed in Mumbai, India, and was soon seen navigating the city in a taxi.

The streamer's IRL adventure was filled with exciting moments, including an impromptu freestyle session with Indian rapper MC Stan and a game of cricket broadcast live on his channel.

The following day, October 13, marked a significant moment for IShowSpeed as he was hosted by the iconic Daler Mehndi at his residence in New Delhi.

The two engaged in a lively jam session to Mehndi's hit track 'Tunak Tunak'. The interaction garnered significant interest from fans and supporters, but the joy was short-lived.

The abrupt termination of IShowSpeed's IRL streams came as a shock to his audience, with YouTube citing "policy violations" as the reason behind the move. The termination affected a three-hour broadcast on October 12 and another one-hour stream on October 13.

While the specifics of the policy violations are yet to be fully disclosed, fans have been speculating that copyrighted Bollywood music may have played a crucial role in the decision.

Notably, during his taxi ride in Mumbai, IShowSpeed played two songs, 'Blue Eyes' by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Akon's debut Bollywood single, 'Chammak Challo'.

Both tracks are owned by the record label T-Series, a well-known entity in the music industry.

In an attempt to avoid copyright issues, IShowSpeed opted to play these songs on his speaker rather than the car radio during his Mumbai journey, a move now believed to be central to the suspension.

Furthermore, during his rendezvous with Daler Mehndi in New Delhi, IShowSpeed ended up playing several other copyrighted tracks, all belonging to the same record label.
