CINCINNATI, OHIO: Darren Watkins Jr aka IShowSpeed, shared brief updates on Twitter as he prepared to leave Japan. Over the past few days, his hospitalization due to a cluster headache and subsequent eye surgery has been a prominent topic, eliciting an outpouring of support from his fans.

Well-wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery have been flooding various social media platforms of the content creator. Recent tweets from Speed vividly illustrate the extent of the agony he endured while grappling with the cluster headache, which left him feeling as though he were "literally" facing death.

IShowSpeed gives health update

In his recent Twitter updates, Speed provided insights into his health journey, discussing the formidable challenge posed by the intensely painful headaches. He also highlighted his heightened distress and discomfort.

One of the tweets read, "idk how i lived through that cluster headache man thank god i’m alive that s**t literally felt like death." In a subsequent tweet, he wrote, "pray my headaches doesn’t come back on thus flight," hoping that his illness was gone for good. 

Speed also shared an image in which he appeared to be donning sunglasses, a face mask, and a beanie. He also sported a black jacket with the Manchester United logo and had his backpack, indicating that he was absolutely ready to return home. 



 



 

'Can't wait to see the next game playthrough'

As soon as Speed shared his health updates, his followers flocked to empathize with him. A user wrote, "I'm glad you got through that shit man 💜, happy to see you returning to good health," while one added, "The important thing that u got better and ur coming back stronger."

"Glad you’re okay bro, I love your streams and always look forward to them…S**t I was up at 6am watching you in Japan like a week or so ago. You’re amazing, cant wait to see the next game playthrough you do…Hopefully you try the FNAF DLC, that s**t will be great 😂," wrote one appreciating Speed and wishing him well.
