His father's channel gained 100k subscribers within a matter of seconds, showing his true influence of Speed in the online space.
Notably, the shout-out comes after a little misunderstanding between the two related to Speed's recent flashing incident.

In a recent livestream, IShowSpeed was seen connecting with his father, Watkins, over a call. During their interaction, he promoted his father's YouTube channel, 'DaddySpeed', which already had over 90k subscribers.
Speed promised that he would help him reach 100k subscribers as he said, "I mean, what, what can I do? My dad to my dad, his channel is DaddySpeed," aiming at his followers.
"You're at 98.2k, 98.6k, 98.9k.You at 99.3k. Dad, you about to hit 100k. You are 99.9k Dad... 100k," exclaimed Speed as he kept an eye on the number of subscribers on his father's YouTube channel.
Speed stated, "You get it, I swear, I swear," before adding, "You did it, Dad!" His father expressed, "Oh man, we did it," for reaching 100k in just a few seconds.
