IShowSpeed gets real on getting 'trolled' by Novak Djokovic at Ballon d’Or Ceremony: 'Tell me why?'
CLEVELAND, OHIO: YouTube sensation Darren "IShowSpeed" responded to a widely shared video on YouTube where tennis legend Novak Djokovic made fun of him during a recent broadcast.
To provide context, the streamer was in attendance at the Paris Theatre du Chatelet for the 2023 Ballon d'Or presentation. During the event, he interacted with various athletes, including Djokovic.
Novak Djokovic 'lied' to IShowSpeed
The Ohio native streamer inquired about the tennis star's name, appearing to be unaware of who he was.
Djokovic took advantage of the moment to playfully pose as a new player for the AC Milan football team, attempting to tease the video producer.
He quipped, "Hey, man! What's up? I'm the new AC Milan star. I haven't played yet, but I'm getting on in the next game. Going for the hat trick."
IShowSpeed asked his fans why the 36-year-old Serbian "lied" to him after viewing the video. He then remarked, "Chat, I thought f**king Serena Williams was the best... Serena Williams was the best tennis player in the world, bro."
While reviewing entries on his official Discord server during the YouTube livestream, IShowSpeed discovered that a fan had shared information about Novak Djokovic.

Upon watching the video, the 18-year-old streamer laughed and remarked, "Trolled by a famous tennis player. Chat, tell me why? (The streamer starts watching the video) Chat, tell me why this dude f**king lied to me, bro? Two days later, I find out he's, like, the best tennis f**king tennis player in the world, bro!"

Following this, the amusingly unbanned Twitch personality mistakenly referred to Tiger Woods as a "tennis" player.
He stated, "But, chat, Novak Djokovic is the best. Like, bro, I heard he's the number one tennis player, bro! Like, chat, I'm thinking of f**king Tiger Woods and f**king Serena Williams (are) the best f**king tennis players."
He expressed regret for not getting a photo with Djokovic and said, "I didn't even take a picture with him! Why do people keep trolling me, bro?! People just keep trolling me! Like, why did he have to troll me?"
