HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES: In a recent interview, producer Brad Winderbaum who has been receiving acclaim for ‘I Am Groot’ animated Marvel short series featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, shared details on possibilities of conceptualizing and making future animated series within Marvel's Multiverse Saga.

After receiving critical acclaim from global audiences and fans for the series, in an interview with Variety dated August 10, the producer Brad Winderbaum opened up on the animated short fantasy series. He also talked about the possibility of creating future animated series within the ‘Multiverse’ saga.

Giving a detailed insight on the Multiverse saga and possibilities of future animated series, Winderbaum said, “I think what's amazing about the Multiverse Saga in particular is that you can go down so many more roads. We've experimented at the studio for a long time about telling stories that take place in a linear fashion, but also going back in time, and being able to show how the MCU can blossom in the past. But what the multiverse does, it allows us to look at alternate paths and other takes on the characters, which is, of course, what happens in the comic books as different artists, different writers, different storytellers work with characters. You see them expanding and growing in unforeseen, unexpected ways. And that's something that is our guiding light as we make more animated projects.”

Also, just because ‘I Am Groot’ is connected to all feature films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this doesn’t mean that all the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise characters need to make an appearance in all stories of Groot.

Winderbaum also shed more light on the fun part of making shows like these and said, “It's fun to see what he does when nobody's looking. Like an actual kid, that's where he gets into the most trouble – when he's right outside the realm of parental eyes. That's part of the shorts you kind of identify with, or at least I do. You watch it and I remember what it was like to be a kid, and the other side of me is, Oh, that's what it's like to be a parent, watching a kid and worrying they're going to be doing something terrible.”

‘I Am Groot’ all episodes are streaming now on Disney +. The series has been garnering plaudits and accolades from global 'Marvel' fanbase and also from critics for the jaw-dropping graphics and VFX effects alongside a funny yet well-written storyline that made all people constantly fall in love with the adorable tree-seedling superhero character of Groot who goes through various experiences.
