'I am Groot' on 'Disney +': A look at Vin Diesel's fairytale romance with partner Paloma Jimenez
‘Fast and Furious’ alum Vin Diesel is one of Hollywood's biggest megastars at present. But very few people know details about his personal life. He prefers to keep his personal life and professional career separate and is very guarded about it. Unlike other stars who are open and frank about their personal lives, Vin is very private and low-key.
All set to save the world with his superpowers as the tree-seedling Marvel superhero in the much awaited 'Marvel' adventure series 'I am Groot,' we take a look at his relationship spanning fifteen years with girlfriend and partner Paloma Jimenez.

Vin and Paloma's first meeting back in the early 2000s
It is true that Vin Diesel and Paloma Jimenez met in the early 2000s. This was the time before Vin was part of the 'Fast & Furious' franchise that made him a global superstar. At that time, he wasn't that popular. However, Paloma was at the peak of her modeling career when Vin approached her. At first, she did not pay much attention to him. However, Vin turned up his charm and finally won her heart.
Together since 2007
It is not known how Vin proposed to Paloma because he has never spoken about it. However, the couple has been going strong since 2007. For those unaware, there’s a significant age gap between the 55-year-old Vin and 38-year-old Paloma but then this has not been a hurdle of any sort for the couple. In fact, they respect each other’s thoughts despite their differences and give each other space in the relationship.
Vin and Paloma have three kids together
Vin Diesel and Paloma have two daughters and a son. Their eldest daughter Hania Riley Sinclair was born on April 2, 2008. She often accompanies her parents to various events, including movie premieres. She was seen attending the premiere of the movie of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' in 2014.
Back in October 2015, Vin appeared on an episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ where he spoke about his daughter Hania sending him the sweetest text whilst he had been busy filming ‘The Last Witch Hunter.’ The text read, “Hi Daddy! I love you so much and I am so proud of you. I miss you so much and I believe in you that you will make an awesome movie. I love you so much. I miss you so much.”
Soon after, Paloma and Vin welcomed their second child named Vincent Sinclair in 2010. The little munchkin is grown up now and is seen copying his dad in videos that Vin uploads to his social media accounts.
Pauline Sinclair, the youngest daughter, was born on March 16, 2015. ‘Pauline’ is named after the late Paul Walker who was Vin Diesel’s colleague and closest friend.
Paul, who died in November 2013, co-starred with Vin in the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies. According to a 'Huff Post' article dated March 2015, Vin, in an interview to 'People', said, “There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just…knew he was there. It felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world.”
Paloma and Vin Diesel are still together even after fifteen years. Paloma is a bit of a recluse when it comes online presence and social media, appearing only on Vin's social media posts. This may also be something the actor probably likes as he keeps his personal life almost entirely private, outside of the occasional family snap.
