'What a shame': Internet slams fans as they crowd Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin at Los Angeles airport
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, who shocked millions with their wedding on March 31, have flown down to Los Angeles for their romantic vacation. However, the couple's presence in the US has sparked worldwide interest, resulting in their privacy being invaded. Thousands of excited fans thronged Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday, April 12, as the couple arrived at the airport.
The newly wedded couple was photographed departing Incheon International Airport for Los Angeles, California, the first stop on their wedding honeymoon, on Monday. Hyun Bin was the first to arrive, welcoming the cameras with a wave, and was joined by Son Ye Jin later. While their privacy was already disturbed, at LAX airport, it took a bigger toll which made Hyun Bin politely reject the fans' videos.

Not all fans were welcoming
After a long flight, the couple arrived at LAX to be greeted by a large crowd of admirers who had gathered to greet them and congratulate them on their marriage. Many of Hyun Bin's and Son Ye Jin's fans greeted them with smiles, while the couple expressed gratitude to those who congratulated them or prepared gifts for them. However, some fans were too informal as they started to get too close to the couple and taking videos without consent.

Fans were upset over impolite fans
The "discourteous" behavior of the fans gathering at LAX was criticized by netizens who watched various stories of the couple's arrival at the airport. Many fans were seen swarming around the couple sans masks, getting close-up shots without their permission. While Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin were busy contacting their vehicle, some approached the couple to speak with them. But Hyun Bin was seen politely telling the fans to leave as he required some space.

Twitter users are furious
Many social media users were angry at those who did not let the couple arrive at the airport peacefully after a long tiring flight. One fan on Twitter wrote, “Sadly, some Americans are discourteous like this (and Puerto Rican which makes me American). It's just a lack of respect for other's personal space. Whether they announced flight plans or not, wear masks and give them some room. People can be plain rude sometimes. What a shame.” while another said, “no.. I think they are really annoyed... they're public figure so they must be kind.” Another fan wrote, “Omgoodness people!! Seriously! Can't they enjoy themselves after their wedding? Can't they not be disturbed while on their honeymoon? Leave them alone people. It's their personal lives. If they want you in it, they'll let you know. Some citizens seriously, take things too far.🤨”
