Rodrigo Alves, formerly known as The Human Ken Doll, who came out as a transgender woman, recently opened up about undergoing an array of medical procedure worth over $7,85,000, after years of trying to find her true identity.

During her appearance on 'This Morning' on Tuesday, January 6, the 36-year-old said that in her battle to become a woman, she could have lost her life. "I should have seen a psychologist but instead I self-medicated with hormones and then I was at an event having drinks and the next thing I knew I was in hospital," she said.

After her transformation, Rodrigo now goes by the name Roddy. She told others not to follow the same path she did for her transformation, after which she spent three months secretly living as a woman.

"I started to self-medicating myself which is very wrong," she explained. "So anyone at home who has been going through gender dysphoric disorder don’t self-medicate, go see a doctor. I live in England but I don’t do my treatment here I do it abroad because there aren't many people who do know this here."

She said that despite spending a fortune on her transformation already, she still had a long way to go as far as medical procedures are concerned.

"I tried my best to be a male but failed badly because I wasn’t happy. I do regret having the fake six pack and arms, I do wish I had the strength in those days to see a psychiatrist and people to help me in that journey. I don’t have a shadow of a doubt about being a woman. I still have more plastic surgeries to do, I will have my breasts enlarged, voice surgery so I have a more female voice and in a year I will have my gender reassignment surgery."

When the TV personality was undergoing the operations, she had gotten away by claiming that she was doing it to "fit into her blazers" - a statement she apologized to the show's co-hosts for.

"This is the real me, I’m sorry I told lies over the years of seven years being interviewed by you both. You said Roddy why did you remove four ribs, I said it was to fit my blazers but it was because I was transitioning," she said.

Next on  the road to her transformation was changing her name, but she was not revealing what it was before it was time. "I have a lot of paperwork I have to change, I will be celebrating my name change on my birthday but it is a secret," she said. "It’s been a journey it is a transition I have been feeling great and at peace with myself, you can hear my voice that I am peace with myself. My medication helps my mind my body my soul."
