The bromance between the stars of 'Wolverine' and 'Deadpool'  has always been on point. On no occasion has either let go of an opportunity to troll the other and it couldn't get better.

However, it seems like the time has come for them to put their ongoing internet feud aside for the greater good.

Hugh Jackman, who appeared on the April 23 episode of 'The Late Late Night Show with James Corden' addressed the much-discussed friendship he shares with Ryan Renolds and told Corden that the latter was the reason for their online feud to begin in the first place.

He shared, "Ryan started it. His insatiable need for attention." He added that Reynolds is like a "dog with the bone". However, the actors have now called a truce and are coming together to take up a challenge that's going to benefit various donations, charities and feed many.

Jackman added, "The idea came to do something with Ryan. It's literally something as important as that." Laughing about the fact that they tried calling a truce years ago and how it never worked out, the actor said, "We're going to do a lemonade stand together."

When asked if this is going to be a permanent truce, "I am preparing for this to be a permanent truce. But let me be clear, the truce is not friendship. The truce is not getting together. Blake can come over anytime. We love her. We can even babysit the kids together."

Meanwhile, reacting to the funny segment, one fan wrote, “So, even though @VancityReynolds is Canadian and all, I totally am in @RealHughJackman's corner. Wolverine is DONE for him. He's moving on!!! Love both of these boys BTW!"

"Hahaha I love it. I totally forgot the banter between @RealHughJackman and @VancityReynolds this makes total sense no. Y'all are funny," wrote another. In the rest of the segment, Jackman discussed his career which spans over two decades and how he's been spending time with his family during the lockdown.

In other news, Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. "We've been together for 24 years and I can count on her anytime," Jackman gushed as he spoke about celebrating his wedding anniversary cooped up in their home.

'The Late Late Show with James Corden' airs on all the weekdays on ABC. You can also watch it on James Corden's official YouTube channel.
