Cooper Hefner, son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, married Scarlett Byrne Monday, November 4. 28-year-old Hefner and the 29-year-old ‘Harry Potter’ actor reportedly tied the knot at a registry office in Ventura, California.

“Scarlett and I have made it officially legal and the two of us could not be happier," wrote Hefner on Twitter, adding, “Cheers to a life full of love, happiness, adventure and great purpose, Mrs. Hefner. I very much look forward to planning our wedding celebrations in the months ahead. I love you, Scarlett."

Byrne also took to social media to announce this happy occasion. On Instagram, she wrote, “Cooper and I are excited to share that we legally married. We are looking forward to planning our wedding in the coming months where we will celebrate further with our friends and family.”

She added, “I love you Cooper. I am proud to stand by your side, as your partner, your friend and your wife. I cannot wait to continue building a life together. My heart is so full and I am so grateful for our love.”

Hefner, who earlier this year stepped down from Playboy to launch his own digital media platform, announced his engagement to Byrne in August 2015. He is one of two sons of Hugh Hefner and Kimberley Conrad.

He is now the CEO of Stag Daily, a company that is reportedly going to launch in 2020. While stepping down from his position at Playboy, he said, "Stepping away from my executive position at Playboy Enterprises was a difficult decision to come to, though it is the right decision to make. The spirit and values of our Rabbit will remain with me always, as I with it, and I look forward to continuing to provide support in a board capacity as an advisor to the company’s CEO."
