What is a TikTok watermark?
The Tiktok watermark is the overlaid logo with the username of the original poster placed on videos. This is important for copyright and marketing reasons to clarify the origin of the media so that others cannot republish the videos without attribution. TikTok adds a bouncing watermark that moves around the video as it plays, making it harder to remove.
How to get rid of TikTok watermark?
There is no direct option on TikTok to download and save videos without keeping their watermark, but there are a few third-party websites that can help you get around this limitation.
1. Open the TikTok app on your phone and select the video you want to download. Once you're on the video, click the Share button and select Copy Link next, you can use a website like musicaldown.com and paste the link into their search box. Make sure the watermarked video setting is unchecked and click the Download button. On the following screen select the option to download the video. The video should be automatically saved to your hard drive.
2. The second option is the Video Eraser app, a simple app for iOS users that removes unwanted visual elements from videos. To do this, you first need to use your device's capture function to make a copy of the entire video. Then, in the Video Eraser app, tap More and Crop video to remove watermark. Next, select the aspect ratio you want for your video and use the corners of the grid that appears to play with the shape. Once you've selected the area without the watermark, select Export and the app will do the rest.
