This article contains spoilers for Season 6 Episode 2.

The latest episode of 'How to Get Away with Murder' Season 6 had both Annalise Keating and the show's fans screaming in unison for Bonnie to stop taking such immense risks with her life.

Not to say we told you so, but we did, Bonnie! And you knew what was coming when you filed that fabricated case against Vivian.

Even though she suffered the consequences by getting fired from her job, fans can't help but marvel over what a convincing act she pulls when lying blatantly in the face of a confrontation.

And for that, Liza Weil and her character Bonnie, both have our immense respect.

Episode two ushered in the return of Sam Keating's ex-wife, and Gabriel's mother, Vivian. She came to town for undisclosed business but made it a point to sneak up on Annalise and blame her for stealing her husband, first, and now her son too, as Gabriel is Annalise's student.

The heated discussion ended with Vivian accusing Annalise of also killing Sam, and given the ongoing FBI investigation, Annalise decided it was best to look into the possibility of Vivian being a mole for authorities.

The task of digging up dirt on her obviously goes to Frank and Bonnie, and Annalise's trusted blonde sidekick takes things a whole notch higher by forging a new criminal complaint against Vivian, in an attempt to get hold of her case filed from the past.

She uses the pretext of considering the new information to decide whether or not they are going to prosecute Vivian. She even finds out that the woman was arrested just a year ago for drug trafficking, and is still on probation.

When Bonnie tells Annalise about this, she gets told off for the immense risk she put her life and job through. Annalise asks her to watch out for herself — almost as if speaking our mind because look what happened next.

The FBI agents who were keeping tabs on the DA's office approach Bonnie after flagging her false complaint against Vivian, which ends up with her position getting terminated.

But the performance Bonnie puts up as an excuse for doing what she did, was beyond incredible. Bonnie straight up lied to authorities about all of this being an extended attempt at finding something that might prove her deceased former co-worker and love interest, Ron Miller, was innocent.

Crying through her confession, even snotting and sniffling like a devastated widow at her deceased husband's funeral, Bonnie put up an act so convincing that one might almost overlook that she suffocated him to death.

Granted, Ron was already beaten up dirty by Nate, but it was Bonnie who finished it. Given to the fact that Ron is one of the two people Bonnie murdered, let's just say getting fired was letting her off pretty easy.

For that, we have Bonnie's extremely loyal tear glands and very convincing lying stance to thank. What Bonnie might be doing is illegal, but she's pulling it off and getting Annalise the dirty deets like an actual boss.

'How to Get Away with Murder' Season 6 airs on Thursdays at 10pm/9c only on ABC.
