SEIENE-ET-MARNE, FRANCE: Andre the Giant, stood at a height of 7 ft 8 in (2.33 m or 233 cm). The tall French wrestler weighed 235 kg, which is approximately 518 lbs.

He was a French professional wrestler and actor known for his gigantism due to excess growth hormones. He began his career in 1966 and relocated to North America in 1971.

After his death in 1993, he became the inaugural inductee into the WWF Hall of Fame. Roussimoff is best known for his role as Fezzik in the 1987 film 'The Princess Bride.' The wrestler died at the age of 46 in his sleep in a hotel room in Paris.

A social media user once claimed that Roussimoff's height was a "lie."

He wrote on X saying, "Andre the giant isn't even andre the giant. You know his height is a lie, right? All wrestlers are much shorter than their billed height. He also died a virgin."

Another user wrote, "In 1966, Andre Roussimoff began wrestling in France under the name Jean Ferre. It wasn't until 1973 that Vince McMahon Sr officially billed him as Andre The Giant."

Jean Christensen had worked in wrestling public relations and as a model in the 1970s. The famous companion was not active on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter at the time of her death in 2008. She had worked at every job that allowed her to support herself financially.
