MEXICO CITY, MEXICO: Peso Pluma, also known as Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, is a prominent Mexican musician who is 5 feet 7 inches (170 cm) tall and is well aware of his global popularity.

Born in June 1999 (age 24 years) in Zapopan, Mexico, Pluma is a representative of the new generation of young Mexican and Mexican-American artists, such as Fuerza Regida, Grupo Frontera, Junior H, and Natanael Cano, who have been dominating the charts on platforms like Billboard, Spotify, and Apple Music.

In the current year alone, Peso Pluma has achieved significant success with eight of his songs landing on the Billboard 100 chart.

However, a bit of controversy arose when the singer, upon achieving this milestone, made an offensive remark about Bad Bunny during a concert. While expressing gratitude to his fans, he exclaimed, “In all of fuc***ing Mexico, we are the first to have put a corrido in the top one, beating the as***ole Bad Bunny.”

Nonetheless, he later expressed his admiration for Bad Bunny and even a desire to collaborate on a song with him.
