KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Widely regarded as the touchdown machine, Patrick Mahomes has undoubtedly established himself as a legendary player in his first five years in the National Football League (NFL).

The 27-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is one of only two players in NFL history with 5,000 passing yards and 50 passing touchdowns in a single season.

Known for his ability to complete sensational plays seemingly out of thin air, Mahomes is the youngest player ever to win a Super Bowl title and league MVP, according to the Kansas City Chiefs' official website.

With jaw-dropping success, Mahomes also attracted questions about his physical stature. One question that has mystified fans from the start is "How tall is Patrick Mahomes?"

Patrick Mahomes’ height is 6 ft 2 in (187 cm). His height often becomes a raging topic of discussion, especially after his record-breaking exploits on the field.

How tall is Patrick Mahomes?

Patrick Mahomes’ height has been a widely debated topic ever since he was selected to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. Today, the star quarterback stands 6 ft 2 in (187cm) tall with 225 lbs weight, per the Kansas City Chiefs' official website.

This impressive height makes Mahomes a foot taller than the average American male, who is estimated to be 5 feet 9 inches (175 cm) tall.

Patrick Mahomes’ height also puts him in a strong position on the field as it allows him to see over the offensive line and make throws that shorter quarterbacks would not be able to make.

How tall is Patrick Mahomes compared to other NFL Legends?

Patrick Mahomes’ height undoubtedly makes him appear comfortably taller than most NFL players. Apart from Mahomes, Jimmy Garoppolo, Lamar Jackson, and Aaron Rodgers are among the few NFL quarterbacks who stand at 6 ft 2 in (187 cm).

However, Patrick Mahomes’ height falls short when compared to some taller NFL players including Richard Sligh (standing at 7 ft), Dan Skipper (6 ft 10 in), or Ed “Too Tall” Jones (6 ft 9 in).

Even outside his sport, he is taller than many leading sportsmen including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Roger Federer, Stephen Curry, and Virat Kohli.

Patrick Mahomes and the Buffalo Bills

Coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs have been fined by the NFL for their criticism of the officiating during Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Reid faces a $100,000 fine for breaking the league's policy against criticizing game officials in public, while Mahomes faces a $50,000 fine for acting unsportsmanlike and breaking the rule against criticizing referees in public.

The Chiefs were upset because during their last drive, a call disregarded a touchdown that would have given them the lead.

Reid and Mahomes should anticipate additional fines for their actions. The total amount that each was fined is still unknown, Bills Central reported.
