However, she left fans confused in 2020 when she again spoke about her height in an Instagram Live. When a fan jokingly commented that Nicki Minaj needed to "watch her 5-foot-2 mouth," she clapped back by saying, "First of all, I'm glad you said that. I'm not 5' 2", I'm 5' 3"! I said that on ['Whip It'] ... I just said that 'cause it rhymed! Durr!"
