During Italy's first Covid-19 lockdown, Lame had just lost his job at a factory near the northern city of Turin.

Lame shared a picture on April 4, 2021 on his Instagram. The TikToker said that he came across Nucci in October 2020 and replied to her story on Instagram. Nucci was born in 2003 in Sciacca, Italy.

“It all started by chance, thanks to social media. In October 2020 I replied to a story on Instagram. We talked for a while, then we stopped writing,” he reportedly said in an interview with Ruetir.
Later, the couple reconnected in their hometown. Reports said he invited her out and they headed to a McDonald's. He said, "The first time was beautiful and simple at the same time."
Lame has shared space with other A-listers, appeared on red carpets and has even walked the ramp at Milan Fashion Week in 2022.

Is Khaby Lame dyslexic?
With his meteroic rise on TikTok, Lame has managed to establish his name as the most followed TikToker.
In a recent interview with Deadline, Lame revealed that he has dyslexia and his parents sent him to a Quranic school in Dakar for sometime as a result. He also reportedly has dyscalculia.
However, now with 161.3 million followers on TikTok, Lame is way ahead of Gen Z influencers Charli D’Amelio and Bella Poarch, who are currently in second and third position.
