POLAND: Iga Swiatek reportedly stands tall at 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m/ 175 cm), making her one of the women players in the world of tennis with an impressive height.

Iga Swiatek’s height also aligns with her global fame, which saw her becoming the youngest women’s singles champion since the 1992 win by Monica Seles, whose height is 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m/ 178 cm).

Besides, the 22-year-old Polish star became the youngest singles champion in 2020. Before her Rafael Nadal got the title in 2005.

However, she seems to be a fan of Roger Federer. Recently, Swiatek told Vogue, “Everything that he does is with so much class; they did such a great job creating his shoe.”

“Roger’s a huge inspiration; he changed our game, basically. He was a big factor for me in making this decision,” she added.

Iga Swiatek has the most feared forehand in women tennis

She has one of the most feared forehand shots in women tennis. Former tennis player and current tennis broadcaster, Pam Shriver, is reportedly a fan of Swiatek's forehand and finds it "the most feared shot in women’s tennis". She once said, "I mean, after Serena’s serve hasn’t been seen in 10 months, I feel like Iga’s forehand is the most feared shot in women’s tennis."

Meanwhile, as per reports, Iga Swiatek’s height is in good proportion to her weight. The three-time French Open winner weighs 143 pounds (65 Kg).

Like Iga Swiatek’s height, her towering popularity saw her joining Infosys “as their global brand ambassador”.
