Currently, the tallest player currently in the WNBA is Bernadett Hatar, who is a staggering 6ft 11 inches (210 cm) tall.

Griner comes fifth on the list of tallest WNBA players ever, after Margo Dydek who is 7ft 2 inches or (218 cm) tall, Han Xu at 6ft 10 inches (208 cm), and Liz Cambage at 6ft 10 inches (208cm).

Brittney Griner’s height compared to male NBA players

Griner is easily taller than most of the male NBA players, including some maestros of the game.

Griner is clearly much taller than Stephen Curry who is 6ft 2 inches (188 cm) tall, Michael Jordan who is 6ft 6inches (198 cm), Chris Paul at 6ft (182 cm) and Kobe Bryant who is 6ft 6 inches (198cm).

Bryant is regarded as one of the most skilled shooting guards of all time with his height. However, he is shorter than Griner.

A few months after Bryant’s death, Griner remembered him with a throwback picture where they stood next to each other with her hand resting on his shoulder.

In the sweet picture, the two were smiling, but the one noticeable aspect of the image was their height difference.
