NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Golden Globe Award-winning actress Claire Danes welcomed a baby girl with her husband of 14 years, Hugh Dancy, a source close to the couple has told People Magazine. It is not known though when the Hollywood power couple delivered the good news, but they were photographed pushing their infant in a stroller around New York City on Monday, July 10.
Danes, who was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2012, donned a multicolored maxi dress while the 'Hannibal' actor paired a navy blue polo shirt with khaki shorts. The name of the girl or her birth date has also not been revealed by the media outlet.

Claire Danes also shares two sons, four-year-old Rowan, and Cyrus, 10 with Dancy whom she married in 2009. The 44-year-old star told Entertainment Tonight while debuting her baby bump at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards in January that conceiving for the third time was “not so expected.” “This was not intentional,” the three Primetime Emmy Award winner told Access Hollywood. Danes subsequently cracked a joke at the “broad spectrum” of her children’s ages, saying that she was “rolling the dice” and was not yet aware of the gender of their third baby.
Danes revealed the underwhelming reactions her sons had on hearing the pregnancy news
During a January appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', Danes revealed the "less than thrilled" reactions the couple's two sons had to the pregnancy news. She said that her son Cyrus, "was sort of resigned to it. I mean, the worst has already happened. His name is Rowan," Danes added with a laugh, referring to her younger son. "But Rowan has more to lose, he has more at stake," she said before adding "He was categorically opposed to the idea."
"He said, 'Yeah, no, no. I don't like it. I don't like it. I like peace, Mama.' I was like, 'You like peace?' That's rich because that dude does not shut up," she laughed. "He said, 'When it comes out of your tummy, we'll give it to a family that doesn't have a baby ... 'cause we're done.'" "So no, he was less than thrilled," concluded Danes.
Danes finally explained that "when the baby comes out, it's gonna be pretty dumb, doesn't know a lot, so it's gonna need some assistance and some educating." "That was interesting to him, he liked the idea of being sort of a condescending presence," she said before adding "So now he's a little more optimistic."
