Anstead was previously married to Louise Storey from 2005 until 2017. During their marriage, they had Amelie and Archie. After the end of his first marriage, Anstead married Christina Hall in 2018, and together they welcomed their son Hudson in 2019. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2021.

The couple first crossed paths on the set of Anstead's show 'Celebrity IOU: Joyride' in Spring 2021. They have been living together since then in Laguna Beach, California. "Ant is very happy with Renee. He really loves her," sources told People, adding that he could be proposing soon, but he "doesn't want to rush things." The couple cherish spending quality time with each other as well as with his three-year-old son, Hudson, at their beachfront home. Despite their busy schedules, both Anstead and Zellweger "very much prioritize Hudson" and "they want him to be happy and comfortable."
