MARIETTA, GEORGIA: 'Married to Medicine' star Quad Webb's life turned upside down after she lost her beloved three-year-old niece Aryanna Rice. Quad is currently 'taking time to grieve' after her niece died in a tragic accident in the Atlanta home she owns.
Aryanna was part of Quad's "village" and the reality star noted in the previous interview that she was helping to raise Ari, but that Ari was "not my adopted daughter." Quad and her mom were in a supportive role for Ari. However, Aryanna was the daughter of Tamica Webb.

How did Quad Webb's niece Aryanna Rice die?
According to the police report, obtained by WSB-TV Channel 2 Atlanta, police officers arrived at the Quad's home in Marietta, Georgia, after two men who were in the backyard of the house noticed what they thought was a doll floating in the pool. Upon realizing it was Aryanna, the men immediately called 911. The 3-year-old was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. It is unclear if Quad was at her house during the time of the fatal drowning. However, Aryanna was just at Quad's place for a month-long vacation with the mother being present. The police report listed the drowning as a tragic accident.

Aryanna was close to Quad. The reality star has also previously penned a heartfelt birthday tribute on her third birthday. Quad shared a series of photos and videos of Aryanna while reminiscing all the special moments that the aunt and niece had shared together. The Bravo reality star's representative released a statement and noted that this is the second loss of "two beloved family members" Quad had experienced in just one week, both "separate occasions."
The statement continued, "This has been an incredibly challenging experience for the entire family. Your understanding and support are deeply valued." The rep added, "In this trying time, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and compassion shown by the public, fans and media. We kindly request much needed privacy during this period of mourning as Quad is taking time to grieve with her family.”
