How did Taylor Swift do that stage dive? Nifty trick from The Eras Tour explained in viral video
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift’s concerts have always been spectacular with the multiple Grammy-winning songstress going out of her way to entertain her ardent fans.
In her more than three-hour long sets in The Eras Tour, Swift is known to have been singing 44 songs from her different musical eras. However, what nobody ever expected her to do was crawl under the stage to achieve a perfect stage dive.

How did Taylor Swift do that stage dive?
The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer is known for her glamorous in-set transitions on tour. It wasn’t any different during her Los Angeles show earlier this week. As Parade noted, during the ‘Lover’ singer’s transition during the concert, Swift was seen diving into a hole which gave the impression of her diving into water under the stage.
As the singer looking resplendent in a floor-length green gown dived into the hole, water was projected around her giving the effect of her swimming in the water. Even an audible splash was played in the background to give it a real effect.
Now a video posted by a TikTok user has explained the mechanism of the dive. The angle from which the video was captured showed Swift crawling out from under the stage to a presumably tunnel system.
The video, which has since been recirculated several times on social media, has the self-explanatory text written on it, "la n5 [Los Angeles night five] stage dive you can see her crawl away.”
'How the heck does she do that'
As the TikTok video of Taylor Swift's famous stage dive became viral, Swifties gushed at their favorite singer's "adorable" antics.
One fan said, "The things she does for us oh Taylor youll forever have my streams."

Another explained the mechanism and said, "So cool seeing this angle on video! Wish we could see the under stage view during the show. There’s actually a track running below the catwalk that has a long mattress/cushion pad thing for her to get on and slide up toward the center diamond."

"Crawling like a toddler awwww," quipped another.
While a section of fans appeared to have unraveled the secret of Swift's diving on the stage, another section sounded flummoxed. Some even started questioning the mechanism of the dive.
Someone asked incredulously, "How the heck does she do that."
"You mean she's not actually swimming ???!!!!!," asked another.
Trying to wrap their head around the mechanism of the dive, another Swiftie quipped, "Does she land on a mattress or what how is she doing that."
"BYE WHY DID I THINK IT WAS SOME CRAZY TECHNOLOGY AND THE SCREEN WAS ACTUALLY HER IN THE MOMENT," commented another fan.

"I just know if i tried i'd bang my head into the stage," commented a bemused fan knowing they'd hit their head on the stage had they been asked to do the same.
