LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rita Ora can’t get enough of her husband Taika Waititi! The singer shared an Instagram post wishing her partner a birthday and also called him the ‘funniest smartest man.’
The 32-year-old wrote, “Happy birthday to the funniest smartest man I have ever come across in my life. You keep me together in moments I don’t think I can.”
Ora continued, “Thank you for showing me what love really is. Here’s to many more moments of me stealing your jokes and telling them 10x louder so people think I’m the funny one. I LOVE YOU.”

How did Rita Ora celebrate Taika Waititi's birthday?
The ‘JoJo Rabbit’ actor told Vogue, that he was lucky that the singer made the first move.
“She proposed to me, and I said yes instantly,” he said. They met over a barbecue in 2018 hosted by Taika at his residence in LA. The two began dating in 2021 while shooting in Australia.
They were so in love that they planned an impromptu wedding in Los Angeles, which took place on August 4, 2022.
“It wasn’t in London or in France like everyone reported. It was in LA with a small group of friends,” clarified Waititi.
Rita Ora shares that they looked at the ‘funny’ side of the misinformation circulated over their wedding.
“It’s actually been quite entertaining for us to see the different stories people made up and all the while getting to keep it to ourselves,” she said.
“And, I love that we now get to share what really happened—and to do it on our one-year anniversary, no less!”

What inspired Rita Ora's 'You & I' album?
Rita Ora even crooned a song dedicated to the couple’s wedding. “I was like, ‘Listen dude, I got married yesterday. I’m very hungover, but I think we should write the ultimate wedding song,’” Ora recalled her conversation with producer Cirkut, reports People.
She dropped her album ‘You & I’ on July 14, and shared that her husband was supportive of the idea.
"I was like, 'I think it'd be cool to really give people an insight into our lives.' And he was like, Go for it," Ora said.
She added, "I love bouncing ideas with him. It's really cool and easy, and he's got really great perspective and taste. [He’s] biggest supporter and advocate."
In her birthday post, Ora shared a few solo photos of her husband, where in one he makes a silly face with his tongue out and in another, he is sitting in a restaurant with a sweatshirt embroidered with the words 'Dirty Dog.'
