VANCE, SOUTH CAROLINA: Former NFL wide receiver Mike Williams, 36, is still alive and remains on life support in hospital following a freak accident at a construction site accident.
Reports of Williams' death were initially made by multiple sources but the family has now confirmed that he is alive.
Williams, who excelled at Syracuse College and played for several NFL teams during his five-year NFL career, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, decided to retire from football in 2016.
