CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: As the news of Former 'The Bachelorette' star Josh Seiter's death began doing rounds on the internet, the reality star took to the internet to squash the rumors and confirm that he's very much alive.
Josh has been battling depression and anxiety for a long and his family's statement also includes a phone number for people to call who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.
John posted a selfie with a smile on his Instagram just four days ago with the caption, "Surviving depression and anxiety one day at a time with a smile." His Instagram bio read, "Mental Health Pioneer."
Josh has always been open and honest about his struggles with mental health over the years. Josh also once mentioned in his social media post, "I’m Josh Seiter, and I'm a suicide attempt survivor."
He elaborated, "I battle OCD, Bipolar Depression, and GAD, but I refuse to give up. What did you survive?"
Meanwhile, in June 2023, Josh came out as bisexual and revealed the difficulties he faced when opening up about his sexuality in a recent interview.

She reshared the post on her Instagram Stories. Monica also reshared Josh's family statement which reads, "It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the tragic news of Joshua's unexpected passing."
The statement continued, "As all who knew him can attest, Joshua was an incredibly bright light in an increasingly dim world."
They added, "His fearless voice and indomitable spirit helped thousands of people in their darkest moments feel just a little less alone."
Josh's family's statement further reads, "Although our heartache at Joshua's passing pains us beyond measure, we find comfort knowing that he is finally at peace."
