THOUSANDS OAKS, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s split is ruling the headlines. Following the surprising announcement of their divorce, Britney's younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears has responded to the news in a subtle gesture.

Britney and Sam had tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Britney's Thousand Oaks mansion in June 2022, an event that Jamie Lynn and the rest of the Spears family did not attend.

Despite previous tensions and Britney accusing Jamie Lynn of not being supportive during her conservatorship battle (which ended in November 2021 after 13 years), the sisters have apparently reconciled. Britney had shared on June 21 in an Instagram post that she had a positive visit with Jamie Lynn on the set of the latter's film ‘Zoey 102’.

What happened between Jamie Lynn Spears and Britney Spears?

The obvious rift emerged between the sisters amid the launch of Jamie Lynn's memoir, ‘Things I Should Have Said’, in 2022. As People Magazine reported, Britney accused her 32-year-old sibling of attempting to "exploit her story for profit" through the book and subsequently unfollowed her on Instagram. This incident underscored the strain in their relationship during that period.

Did Britney Spears invite her sister and mother to her wedding?

She wrote, "You look radiant and so happy! Your wedding is the 'Dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! I am soooo happy for you! I love you!" Jamie Lynn, while not commenting, demonstrated her support by liking her sister's wedding post.
