Bonnie Ahlstrom the mother of 'Sister Wives' star Meri Brown, passed away at the age of 76, her daughter confirmed on Instagram. Fans of 'Sister Wives' will recognize Bonnie from her appearances on the show, where she helped Meri run the bed and breakfast 'Lizzie's Heritage Inn'.
This is yet another blow for Meri who has also been struggling with her discord with Kody Brown. Kody, of course, is married to three other women but is in a spiritual union with Meri. Meri and Kody, however, have been brutally honest that their relationship isn't where it should be, with Meri even describing the relationship as 'dead'.

In an emotional post on Instagram, Meri did not elaborate on her mother's cause of death. She simply said that it was unexpected and her mother was gone far too soon. She went onto elaborate on how her mother had lived a life of love and service.
Meri said, "76 years and 17 days was not enough time for the world to feel the beautiful spirit of this beautiful woman. This woman whose life mission was to give, to love, to serve. This woman who only knew how to do for others. This woman who would drop everything for you. This woman who was strong, resilient, compassionate. This woman who was a safe place to land, no matter where, no matter when. This woman, this beautiful woman, my mom.She left us suddenly, unexpected, and extremely way too soon and I literally don't know how I'm going to do the rest of my life without her. Mom, I love you beyond the words I can express here, but I know you know that. You are loved, you are missed, and I know you are so happy celebrating on the other side with dad, hugging your daughter and son who left us too soon, reuniting with your parents, and getting to know your dad. Love them all, hug them all, and be happy. Or rather, just continue filling that space around you with the light that you always do. I love you Mom! March 9, 1945 - March 26, 2021"
Fans of 'Sister Wives' shared their condolences with Meri. One fan on Instagram said, "I am so sorry for your loss. I feel like I know her from watching your show and I can tell she was a wonderful mom, grandma, and human. I know you will carry her heart forever and you will continue her legacy. Sending prayers."
Another on Instagram said," I remember her on this show the few times she was in...I could tell she was a sweet/wonderful lady 💓🙌🏻💔😭 I'm so sorry for your lost. Prayers for you and your family 🙏🏻🌸🕊️🦋 #RIP to your mom."
Just a few weeks ago on her mother's birthday, Meri had written a tribute to her mother's selfless nature saying, "She's the kind of person who will give you the shirt off her back if you need it. I have so many memories of things "disappearing" during my childhood, because she knew a family who needed something more than we did. And I'm not talking toys like most moms secretly get rid of. I'm talking furniture! Haha! Still have no idea where my childhood bed ended up! But that's just who she is. The giver, the provider, the lover, the supporter. Thank you mom for being such an inspiration to me and so many others!!
