DEL MAR, CALIFORNIA: Alec Musser reportedly passed away on Friday night at the age of just 50. The actor was well known for his role in 'All My Children.' He died of an 'undisclosed' reason in his Del Mar home in California. His uncle and fiance also confirmed the news as per TMZ media.

Born on April 11, 1973, Alec Musser was an American fitness model and actor. Alec Musser starred as Del Henry on the long-running television series 'All My Children.' In July 2005, he was awarded for the role after he won a reality TV show. He appeared in a total of 43 episodes until he exited the drama series in 2007.

He was a fitness freak and an avid athlete. He was also a fitness model in New York. Apart from that he also appeared in 'Grown Ups,' 'Desperate Housewives,' 'Road to Altar' and even 'Rita Rocks.'

However, he took a break from Hollywood, instead, he maintained his presence on social media. He posted about his lifestyle and fitness journey. The heartthrob had 2078 followers on Instagram. He posted surfing videos, fitness snaps, and even videos of his pet dogs. He even went on vacations to Croatia, Aspen, and many other places. 

Apart from his television stints, he graced the covers of several magazines such as Men's Health, Men's Workout, and Exercise Health.

What reality show did Alec Musser win?

Alec Musser won SOAPnet's reality TV contest 'I Wanna Be a Soap Star.' After winning this show he was awarded a contract with 'All My Children' and became the second actor to play Del Henry, succeeding Winsor Harmon.

This series debuted on cable channels and was hosted by 'All My Children' star Cameron Mathison. The series was based on the British reality series 'Soapstars.' This was a show where contestants tried to outdo one another in proving their acting prowess to bag a role in famous shows such as 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live.'

'AMC' was an American television soap opera that aired on ABC from January 5, 1970, to September 23, 2011, and on The Online Network from April 29 to September 2, 2013, via Hulu, Hulu Plus, and iTunes.

This soap was set in Pine Valley, Pennsylvania, a fictional suburb of Philadelphia. It was the first new network daytime drama to debut in 1970. It won several Daytime Emmy Awards and its performers received 360 nominations.
