‘How are you rich': Khloe Kardashian slammed as ex-aide Matthew Manhard sues her over unpaid wages after firing him
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Keeping up with the Kardashian' star, Khloe Kardashian, is sued by one of her former assistants, Matthew Manhard, as he allegedly got canned by her after he suffered a knee injury. Manhard claims that working for her was a nightmare, and he had even worked for more than 12 hours without any break under her.
Earlier this month, Khloe's fashion line 'Good American' also went through another crisis as she was sued by a model, Jourdan Whitehead, for not paying an amount of just over $1000 on time. The model also claimed that she was set to receive her paycheck by December 10, 2021, but did not receive payment for another three months till March 11, 2022.

Who is Matthew Manhard?
Manhard has worked as a barista at Alfred Tea Room in California. He has also worked for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as their personal assistant. He has been working with Khloe for more than four years, as per Linkedin.
What are the claims of Matthew Manhard against Khloe Kardashian?
Manhard is also seeking monetary compensation from Khloe and alleges she violated many labor laws. He also added that she skirted paying him overtime even though he often worked 12 hours on some days, as per Daily Mail. Some of the outlets including Popculture.com have reported that he is not only suing Khloe but also her company, 'KhloMoney.' The complainant also stated that her company operated under payroll policies that allowed them to avoid paying overtime and double-time wages to employees which is essential under labor laws in California.
The court documents allege, "Manhard has suffered both general and special damages in the past and present and will continue to suffer such damages in the future for an unknown period of time. Manhard has also suffered and continues to suffer losses in earnings and other employment benefits, as well as past and future non-economic injury. This has caused damage to Manhard's professional reputation, as well as Manhard's income and other benefits. Moreover, Manhard has also suffered, and continues to suffer, extensive general damages in the form of anxiety, anguish, and mental suffering," as per Pop Culture.
What is the response from Khloe Kardashian?
"Toward the end of his employment, he was on a leave of absence for an extended period of time and the role eventually needed to be replaced. We will not tolerate false accusations and will prove that this is a frivolous lawsuit," Khloe's legal spokesperson told TMZ. The representative also added, "It’s unfortunate to learn that a former employee would choose to go this route. Matthew was properly classified and compensated for his role."
