Spoilers for 'Homeland' Season 8 Episode 7 'F****r Shot Me'

"I did not think of covid19 for 55 minutes" was one of the first tweets that hit after 'Homeland's Episode 8 premiered on Showtime. Picking up from after the gripping end from 'Two Minutes', 'F****r Shot Me' gives a look at Haissam Haqqani's (Numan Acar) fate after he surrenders to the US hoping to get a fair trial after being accused of killing the two Presidents. Abdul G'ulom, who's out for his head, seems to be the only man content as Haqqani is handed over to the Afghan government.

Carrie's (Claire Danes) team-up with Yevgeny (Costa Ronin) raised a few eyebrows as well with this fan still unsure if trusting the Russian agent was a good bet. "I am cautiously loving Yevgeny but certain that will prove to be a bad choice," he tweeted

Here's a hate tweet. Something that we don't see often. "Sadly this show is getting ludicrous this woman can do more than any military ..a superhero never eats never sleeps single-handedly takes down Afghan men with machine guns ...defies her own government but is always right it's getting so unbelievable darn."

"Great episode" was a common tweet and one of the fans couldn't wait for the next one to come out. "Really enjoying this season ended on another cliff hanger !! Can’t wait until next week’s episode episode". 'F****r Shot Me' is titled after Max's exasperated phrase, the first that he mumbles when Carrie meets him after Yevgeny arranges a deal.

However, that attempt is a failure after Haqqani's son, Jalal (Elham Ehsas), takes control of the situation. It appears that they plan to execute Max live on television putting his fate into question again. In the end, it's a bit of a failure for both Carrie and Saul. Max isn't safe yet, and G'ulom, after anticipating Saul's move, thwarts the plan to perfection. Hugh Dancy makes an appearance as John Zabel and that had fans in a tizzy as well.

"Omg! I didn’t recognize him at first!" tweeted a fan while another said: "Is anyone ever really ready for Hugh Dancy?"
