'He's such a mess': Macaulay Culkin doesn’t want his 'abusive' father to meet his son Dakota
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Home Alone’ star Macaulay Culkin reportedly doesn’t want his estranged father to meet his grandson. Radar Online revealed that the 42-year-old actor, who once called his father Kit Culkin, 77, ‘abusive’ during his childhood, now doesn’t want his son Dakota to go near him, according to a source.
According to the source, Kit never gave his diligent son a breather when he was his manager, and he had a reputation as a bully in Hollywood who attempted to steal creative control of Macaulay's films from studio heads.
According to insiders, “Kit lives in relative obscurity in Oregon, and his health has been failing for some time after the stroke he had a few years back. He’s such a mess and a lonely recluse.” Another source revealed that Kit's condition deteriorated following the death of his longtime partner Jeanette Krylowski in 2017. Macaulay, who is one of his seven childre with his ex-partner Patricia Brentrup, is reportedly not in contact with his father for a very long time.
“He hasn’t seen or spoken to Macaulay in many years,” the source remarked.
