Holly Marie Combs took to social media to announce that she has lost her grandfather to coronavirus.  She is also calling out POTUS Donald Trump for his "lies" about the pandemic and went on to brand him as a "disgrace to the human race". Holly's grandfather died on Monday, April 27 after he contracted COVID-19.

The former 'Charmed' star took to Twitter to slam Trump about his "lies" in an angry post. She reposted a tweet that Trump had posted on April 25 where he denied that he had called the coronavirus "a hoax." Video footage captures him calling it a hoax on February 28 while at an SC rally in North Charleston.

As per the footage, Trump had told the crowd, "The Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. This is their new hoax."

However, Trump denied calling the pandemic a "hoax" in his tweet that read, "I never said the pandemic was a Hoax! Who would say such a thing? I said that the Do Nothing Democrats, together with their Mainstream Media partners, are the Hoax."

"They have been called out & embarrassed on this, even admitting they were wrong, but continue to spread the lie!" his post added.

Holly had written on Twitter, "My grandfather died today. He voted for you. He believed you when you said this virus was no worse than the flu. He believed every lie you muttered and sputtered."

"He died today from Covid-19 one day after his 66th wedding anniversary. You’re a disgrace to the human race," her post read.

Many of Trump's supporters rushed to support him and took to slamming Holly for her comments. One such user wrote, "How dare you blame Trump!" Another user wrote, "It’s not right to blame President Trump. If you wanna blame anyone blame China."

However, Holly wasted no time in shutting the trolls and haters down and immediately responded to them. She took to Twitter to share, "Zero tolerance for Trumpers. Zero. Take it to someone else’s timeline. Not today Satan."

Before her grandfather passed away, Holly had been openly critical of Trump's response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. During a briefing on April 23, Trump had said, "And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or, or almost a cleaning?"

"Because you see it gets on the lungs and it does a tremendous number, so it will be interesting to check that. So that you're going to have to use medical doctors." "But it sounds, it sounds interesting to me. So we'll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that's, that's pretty powerful." His comments drew massive outrage and backlash across social media platforms.

On the same day, Holly had retweeted a post which read, "Medical professionals are having to warn people not to shoot up Clorox because the president of the United States suggested shooting up Clorox’ is not a sentence I ever thought I’d type."

As per data from the John Hopkins University, the US has had 1,012,583 confirmed cases of coronavirus with around 58,355 deaths.
