Hilary Duff gets married to Matthew Koma in an intimate backyard ceremony: 'It was a love fest'
Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma recently got married in an intimate backyard wedding. The 32-year-old 'Lizzie McGuire' actress is officially off the market after she got married to her partner of three years in an intimate backyard ceremony over the weekend.
The couple welcomed their daughter Banks in October 2018 and announced that they were engaged in May this year. According to Just Jared, multiple sources confirm that the couple has officially tied the knot. “It was a love-fest – a small and intimate ceremony at her house with friends and family," a source revealed to the website.
Apart from that, Hilary's longtime hairstylist and friend Jessica Paster also teased the couple's wedding on her Instagram account. She posted a picture of a bouquet on Instagram and captioned it, "Winter solstice … a day of luv ❤️🌺☃️🦋.”
Hilary and Matthew began dating in January 2017, around a year after her divorce with Mike Comrie was finalized. Hilary and Mike were separated for two years prior to the divorce. The singer and actress also shares a 7-year-old son, Luca, with her ex-husband, Mike.
In 2015, Hilary and Matthew worked on her album 'Breath In... Breathe Out' together where he co-wrote and produced the songs. Earlier this year, in October, there were rumors that the couple had secretly gotten married after Matthew took to his social media and posted a black and white picture of his fiance which he captioned, 'Wife'.
Though Hilary shut down rumors of her and the songwriter being married in November, it has been quite a busy year for her, after her sitcom 'Younger' got renewed for the seventh season. Hilary is also currently filming a Lizzie McGuire reboot series for the streaming site, Disney Plus. The original series that was released on Disney aired from 2001 to 2004. The series also spawned a movie titled, 'The Lizzie McGuire Movie' that was released in theatres back in 2003.
And if that isn't enough, she recently also took to social media teasing that there might be new music coming. Recently she uploaded a picture of herself wearing headphones in a recording studio with Matthew. This had fans speculating that there might be a new album in the works.
