HGTV star Drew Scott and Linda Phan claim son Parker 'little jealous' after sister's arrival
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Drew Scott and his spouse, Linda Phan, are parents to two children. On June 5, the couple shared a picture of their newborn daughter's tiny hands and feet on Instagram to mark the arrival of their second child.
"Our family of 3 has become 4!" they said in a shared post. "Piper Rae, I love you with all my heart."
The couple, who also have a 2-year-old son named Parker, disclosed on their website that Piper's true birthday is May 21.
The 'Property Brothers' star said, "We are over the moon." "Piper is healthy, Linda is healthy, and seeing Parker excited to be a big brother is adorable."
The reality TV personality claimed that their son has shown signs of curiosity, helpfulness, and perhaps even jealousy toward his new sister. The HGTV personality quipped, "We got him his own baby doll so he can take care of his baby while we take care of ours."
Despite having spent two years adjusting to fatherhood together, Drew admitted he had no clue what to anticipate from being a girl dad.
"It’s actually quite funny, I get a lot of mixed advice about being a girl dad,” he expressed. “Some people say that it’s the best thing, and others are warning me to look out. All I know is I am excited to experience whatever is to come with Piper."
But compared to her big brother, Piper has already shown herself to be a bit more of a bother.
He said, "I was proud that in the past two years, Parker had never peed on me while changing him." "Piper has already peed on me twice!"
The pair also disclosed that most of their family, including twin brother Jonathan Scott and fiancée Zooey Deschanel, had already met their daughter.
In January, Drew and Linda shared a picture of Parker stroking his mother's expanding baby belly, announcing their impending pregnancy. Around that time, they said on Instagram, "Round 2 I hope Parker’s ready for a lil company."

Despite using in vitro fertilization to have Parker, the couple was taken aback when they became naturally pregnant again. When his wife began to feel "super bloated" last year, Drew recently told TODAY that they had planned to see their fertility endocrinologist.
"She did four pregnancy tests, and they were all positive. So we checked in (with the doctor), and she was over three months pregnant,” he clarified. After years of trying unsuccessfully to conceive on their own, Drew said the pair didn't think the "mind-blowing" finding was possible.
"Any signs that could potentially be a ‘you’re pregnant’ sign, you just throw out the window, because you’ve been told that’s not possible," he added. "I mean, it’s actually kind of amazing."
Since getting married in 2018, the HGTV personality and podcast producer have frequently discussed their desire to conceive a family. They underwent IUI and IVF procedures for two years before receiving positive news in August 2022 and being ready to welcome a child in May 2022.

The five-bedroom, four-bath house was completely renovated by Drew and Linda, who also added a few more rooms. They addressed every conceivable décor faux-pas, from "shag carpet no one even wanted to touch" to poodle wallpaper, according to Drew, with assistance from builder Jonathan.
