'He's so funny': Fans gush over 'adorable' Jungkook as he admits to Jimmy Fallon he's still afraid of microwaves
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent appearance on 'The Tonight Show', Jungkook of BTS fame left fans in stitches as he candidly admitted to being afraid of microwaves.
Jimmy Fallon warmly welcomed Jungkook back to the show and proceeded to list some of the K-pop sensation's incredible achievements.
BTS had been nominated for five Grammys, and Jungkook's single 'Seven' had made history by becoming the fastest song ever to reach 1 billion streams.
The artist had also replaced himself on Spotify's list of most streamed songs globally, and his debut solo album 'Golden' was already breaking records.
The host surprised Jungkook with the news that 'Seven' had just become platinum.
Jungkook on his everyday life
However, Fallon was curious to learn more about Jungkook's life outside of the limelight, and he quipped, "What do you like doing? Outside of music, what do you do for fun?"
Jungkook said, "Pretty ordinary, like many people, like sometimes I spend my whole day in bed, Or cooking, working out."
Fallon asked about his cooking preferences, "What do you cook? What do you like to cook?
Jungkook confessed, "I love noodles, yes."
When asked about his interests outside of music, Jungkook revealed his love for making pizza. He said, "Pizza. Ah. Yeah, I like pizza, but... I didn't like leftovers, so... So like cold pizza, no good?"
Jungkook's fears and pizza preferences
The interview took an interesting turn when Jimmy Fallon mentioned New York City pizza, prompting the enthusiastic crowd to erupt into cheers. Jungkook admitted, "Not yet," to which Fallon playfully exclaimed, "Oh! I got you..."
But the moment that truly stole the show was when Jimmy Fallon delved into an intriguing discovery about Jungkook's fears.
The audience was in splits as Jungkook's fear of microwaves was revealed.
He explained, "Well, when I was young... I used to be afraid, but... still afraid."
Fallon, baffled by the fear, inquired further, "Why? Why are you afraid?" Jungkook candidly revealed, "I don't know. I guess it's a little frightening because I don't really understand it."
The conversation turned to BTS' 10th-anniversary celebration, and Fallon expressed gratitude for the group's frequent appearances on his show.
Jungkook remained humble, even with all his achievements, and was reluctant to admit he was a "huge global pop star."
Fans were quick to gush over Jungkook's candid and adorable personality. Later in the show, Jungkook performed 'Standing Next to You', delivering a captivating performance that further endeared him to his global fanbase.
