'He's just so special': Cher says her BF Alexander 'AE' Edwards makes her laugh and she 'loves being with him'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cher is unbothered by her boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards' appearance which is being slammed by some people.
The 37-year-old, who sports diamond teeth, tattoos, and white hair, is a singer and music executive at Universal Music Group.
What did Cher say about Alexander Edwards?
The iconic singer told People in an interview, "Alexander’s got diamond teeth, tattoos, white hair, and he’s way younger. He’s a beautiful man."
“Also, I think it’s fun to be interested in somebody else’s love life!” The 77-year-old shared that AE already had her number. “It was really shocking, because people just don’t give out my number,” she said.
“I had been telling all my friends, ‘We’re too old to go out with really younger men and I will never fall in love on text.’ So I did what I said not to do!” Cher said, explaining why she went back on her words and broke the rule for him.
“Because he’s just so special. I hate when people say people are special, but lots of people say I’m special, so I can say that he’s special," she added.
"No matter what happens, I love being with him. He makes me laugh, and we have fun. What I learned is that it’s never too late. If you wrote out all the statistics, you would go, ‘Well, this is doomed.’ But we’ve been together a year, and if it was just a year, it would’ve been worth it. I’ve had the best time," she continued.

Cher is clear about her priorities in life
The ‘Dark Lady’ star is clear about her priorities in life. She said, “If you have happiness, you can’t think about how long it’s going to last. You have to think about ‘How does it feel?’ and live in the moment.”
Cher and Alexander have been involved in a few projects together too. Edwards produced her new track 'Drop Top Sleigh Ride' which will be released on Christmas. This 'DJ Play a Christmas Song' will be out during the same time.
"He's a great producer. I let him do 'Drop Top Sleigh.' That's a hard thing to do when you are in love with someone and then you say, 'OK, here, take this record and do what you want with it.' But I had faith. And I was so thrilled," said Cher.
She earlier spoke about her collaboration with AE in March. "I'm going to England to make two albums," she told E! News.
"Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I'm pretty excited about that. He's a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I'm happy about that," she said at the time.
