Helen Hunt, 56, shows off her toned body in stunning bikini while bodyboarding at Malibu
The 56-year-old Helen Hunt looked stunning as ever as she flaunted her toned abs and legs at a Malibu beach on Sunday, June 7. The supermodel was snapped enjoying herself and walking out of the sea in an Asceno The Genoa triangle bikini top along with a matching Naples low-rise bikini briefs. The 'Mad About You' actress has been a bodyboarder for years. She also played the role of a surfer in 'Soul Surfer' (2011) and 'Ride' (2015). Back in 2015, while interviewing with Healthy Living Magazine, Hunt said that she didn't credit bodyboarding for her sporty figure. "I don't surf anywhere near enough for that to be having to do with anything. I don't know… as a general rule, I tend to move."
"I don’t go to a gym ever. I don’t diet ever. I used to diet but sometime after the eighties, it made me miserable, but I do like to walk, run, and I do like to surf when I can just to warm it up, and I do enjoy doing yoga when I can get there," she continued. "It’s a religion for me to never diet. I think it makes you unhappy. It makes for unhappy things, so I just decided I would rather not have the perfect body, not have the body I want than diet. And when I dropped the idea of dieting, my body went closer to the way that I was wanting it to be," she said during the interview.
Hunt has a 16-year-old daughter, Makena, with director Matthew Carnahan. While speaking to USA Today, she said, "I do eat well. I try to love my body. That is what I tell my daughter. I say, 'Love every bite of food. Love your body. We're all going to be dead soon'. Actually I don't say that last thing to her."
Last year, the Academy Award-winning actress was involved in a scary accident and was briefly hospitalized. The incident occurred in Los Angeles’ Mid-City area, a spokesperson with the Los Angeles Police Department told People. According to the spokesperson, Hunt was among several others who were taken to a local hospital but the police investigated the traffic incident and determined that there had been no crime committed.
