Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young to get married in 2021, co-star Christina Anstead not invited: 'No exes'
'Flip or Flop' fame real estate investor, 39-year-old Tarek El Moussa and Netflix's 'Selling Sunset' star, 33-year-old Heather Rae Young are getting hitched soon. Tarek's ex-wife and mother of his children, 37-year-old Christina Anstead is apparently not going to be a part of their brand new life as she is not invited to the wedding, according to reports.
The real estate couple is planning a small, intimate wedding ceremony sometime in the summer of 2021, according to an interview they gave with Entertainment Tonight. They will either get married in California or have a destination wedding in Cabo. Heather has apparently already found her wedding dress and has asked her sister to be her maid-of-honor. Even though the couple is still deciding on the date one thing they are certain of is not having any "exes at the wedding".
"No, no exes at the wedding," Tarek stated, explaining that they are planning on having a small wedding with no cameras. "Small, less distractions, more intimate, better conversations with the people around us. You know, we just think smaller is better."
Tarek and Christina were married from 2009 to 2018. They continue to star on 'Flip or Flop' together and are dedicated to co-parenting their two children, 10-year-old Taylor and five-year-old Brayden. Even though they seem to have a good working relationship, it seems that is not enough to buy Christina's attendance at Tarek's intimate wedding. However, the kids will very much be a part of the celebration.
Christina announced her separation from husband Ant Anstead on September 18, after less than two years of marriage. The mother-of-two also felt a little nostalgic as she took to Instagram and shared a picture with her ex-husband Tarek, presumably on the set of their wildly successful reality TV show.
In the caption, Anstead noted that she still remembers the day she and Tarek made a pitch video for HGTV. The captioned continued, "Even after babies, divorces, and engagements the show continues… I am beyond grateful for this crazy ride – it’s been a lot of things, (including bug infested and rancid smells) but it’s never been boring." Anstead recently bought a yacht for herself to ease her troubled mind.
