GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA: During one of the NELK Boys' 'FULL SEND' podcast episodes, Internet sensation MrBeast revealed how he got on Joe Rogan's 'The Joe Rogan Experience' as a guest, as it took a simple yet ingenious method of sliding into his direct message (DM).
Rogan's podcasts have become one of the most popular series of all time in recent years, with guests from all walks of life sharing their life stories. Despite hosting the majority of the internet's prominent stars, MrBeast's debut on the show in March 2022 drew huge notice from people all around the world.
'He’s almost like a dad'
Six months after appearing on 'JRE', MrBeast explained everything that transpired and how he got himself on Rogan's podcast. During his interview on NELK Boys' 'FULL SEND' podcast, MrBeast discussed a variety of topics, including his next YouTube video concept and plans for Feastables and Beast Burger. What caught viewers' curiosity the most, though, was when he was asked about his historic performance on Rogan's podcast.
MrBeast revealed the technique to the audience by saying, "I think I just shot him a DM on Instagram and then he was like yeah, f*ck yeah, lets do it. He was really cool. Really down to earth, I had a lot of fun." Furthermore, the YouTube sensation went on to discuss how huge and renowned Rogan is, as well as how successful his podcast has become in recent years. MrBeast appointed him as his "dad," saying, "He’s almost like a dad."
He continued, "It sounds weird today but that’s exactly how I would put it. I like how he just, you know, objectively wants to learn. That Joe Rogan podcast was f**king crazy for us. Obviously, we all know Joe Rogan is big but I didn’t realize how big he was afterwards when I go into Walmart and these old dudes would be like ‘holy s**t, you were on Rogan’."
"They would come up to me that they'd be like oh my kid loves your video blah, but I mean thousands of times like just the oldest people you can think of would be like oh my god you are that guy on Joe Rogan and it actually did a lot for us," the YouTuber added.
'Very 1st video I uploaded got like 20,000 views'
MrBeast's appearance on 'JRE' was a huge success. MrBeast discussed his extraordinary YouTube career from being an awkward, shy kid to being one of the world's most successful content creators during his talk. He said, "The first few years I wasn't making any money off YouTube. The very 1st video I uploaded got like 20,000 views and I fell in love and been hooked ever since."
The podcast was cut into small bits and published on various social media platforms, sparking a flood of reactions from viewers all around the world. MrBeast remarked that, despite having 172 million followers on his main YouTube channel alone, his involvement on the show allowed him to reach out to a far larger audience and progress much further in his YouTube adventure.
