Are Harry Styles and Tracee Ellis Ross dating? Couple's rumored date has fans say 'please let this be true'

According to the latest reports, heartthrob singer and actor Harry Styles is no longer single as speculations are rife that he is "romancing" 'Black-ish' actor Tracee Ellis Ross. 

Breaking many hearts on Monday, September 28, celeb gossip Instagram handle @deuxmoi (private account) posted a series of screenshots on their stories, which was actually a chat with an anonymous source who reportedly claimed, "Was at a pace [sic] in Laurel Canyon sat next to Harry Styles and Tracy Elise [sic] Ross. They were definitely on a date and their convo was pretty juicy! This was maybe 6/8 months ago," the source reportedly wrote. When asked what Styles,26, and 47-year-old Ross were saying to each other during their "juicy" conversation, the source reportedly said, "They were asking each other [sic] where the wildest place they've hooked up was, and if they should go to the bathroom together."

Sadly, when asked if they heard what their answers were, the source reportedly confessed that they weren't able to make them out, but they did reportedly manage to note that, based on what they saw that night, Styles and Ross were "definitely on a date/hooking up."

Ross and Styles met on Instagram, as Ellis explained in a December 2019 appearance on 'The Late Late Show With James Corden’. During the actual interview, Kendall Jenner pretty much sat quietly while Styles and Ross seemed to be pretty at ease with each other. "It was Instagram... the DMs. Harry started liking my pictures. I was like, 'Who is this Harry Styles?'" To that, Styles interjected, "I'm a fan!" Ross continued, "Then I started commenting on your pictures and then I was like, 'When are you gonna perform in LA?' and you were like, 'This weekend, do you want to come?' and I was like, 'I do, sir.'"

As soon as the news made its way to social media people started reacting to it, as one Internet user questioned, "All this time yall were chatting up Tracee being single .. And she been dating Harry Styles?" While another one posted a gif of sad bunny and wrote, "I know it’s 3am but I need to know if Tracee and Harry Styles are dating...My shipper heart is currently taking applications."

While one fan wrote, "Obsessed with the idea of harry styles dating tracee ellis ross. if i became a pop star at 15 would i too dare to dream so big," and some stunned by the news and wrote, "Today my coping mechanism is the mere possibility that Tracee Ellis Ross and Harry Styles could be hooking up." While another one posted a funny gif and wrote, "Me seeing @TraceeEllisRoss x @Harry_Styles shippers, knowing damn well Tracee's private life is locked down tighter than Fort Knox. IF we find out, it will be like 2050 in her memoir. But still me."

One even said, "Harry Styles fans v Tracee Ellis Ross fans having a mutual cease-fire to not drag one another, b/c their relationship seems so awfully pleasant. Maybe they are f*****g, maybe they HAVE f****d, you know Tracee laughed the entire time and Harry spoke in low sweet tones." While one of Ross's fan wrote, "I never really cared or got jealous of Harry styles and the attention he garners from the ladies; let the man do his thing ya know. And then I found out he got the attentions of and Tracee Ellis Ross......Harry you lucky son of a duck."

Another fan said: "The wildest thing i heard this month was about harry styles and tracee ellis ross and if i would ever lose someone i love it would be for that woman." Fans started analyzing his songs in the meanwhile with one even saying: "If harry styles wrote “brown skin and lemon over ice” about tracee ellis ross im going to need a little time to catch my breath." While another fervently hoped, tweeting: "Please dear god let the Harry Styles & Tracee Ellis Ross rumor be true."
