#HappyTaehyugDay says J-Hope spamming BTS member V on his birthday with love, amuses fans that Hobi stayed awake

As clock struck midnight in South Korea, fans across the world celebrated Kim Taehyung aka V's birthday

On BTS member Kim Taehyung aka V's birthday, army from over the world wished the idol as he turned 25 years old (26 years in Korean age) on December 30. As the clock struck 12 in South Korea, fellow member J-Hope, addressed endearingly as Hobi ensured that he wished the fellow member and shared throwback pictures and videos of Taehyung on social media. This has left fans amused because Hobi is known for calling in early every night. In fact, the star had slept through the Hot100 list announcement, and Grammy nominations announcement, so when he stayed awake for V's birthday, BTS fans were pleasantly surprised and also shared pictures and videos of Taehyung and J-hope together.

J-hope had shared a cute reel that sees himself and V act adorable for their fans, with the caption 'Two fools at the end' (translated) with a birthday wish on Instagram and Twitter. One fan wrote, "No but hobi actually slept through the Grammys but stayed up to spam tae with love on his birthday,,,yeah no one loves him more than hobi does." The fan also shared screenshots of the wish in Hangul along with the tweet. Another fan similarly tweeted, "U know what hurts so bad is hobi usually goes to sleep early like he slept through the hot100 and slept through the grammys announcement but wouldn’t sleep through tae’s bday and that makes me want to cry," and added, "It’s literally almost 2 am there and he’s spamming twt with pics and vids of tae and that’s so sweet and cute and it makes me think abt how he said during festa that taes became so precious to him that he’s overwhelmed and now he’s saying 80% of his pics r tae ok . ok . ok"

The tweet that fans are referring to is a roll of four pictures of Taehyung that was posted on the Twitter handle BTS_twt with a caption that read that "80% stake in Hope's film." In another tweet, Taehyung is also wished Happy Birthday and he is called the "most lovely and modest" friend. Along with the wish, a video of V posing at a photoshoot was shared.  

So fans have been sharing that J-Hope's priorities are set straight and one of them even wrote, "Don't make me cry. Our Hobi really loves our Taetae so much I can't even. My Vhope Hearttt." Another fan wrote, "“the main character who occupies 80% of hope film” - hobi on tae," and shared a compilation video of some adorable moments between J-Hope and V. Another fan referred to the video shared on both Instagram and Twitter and wrote, "Omyghod this vid is from fake love era. fake love released in 2018, so its been 2 years, and hobi kept this vid in his phone ? sobs."

Then there have also been jokes about how J-Hope would have had to scavenge for pictures and videos from his phone, transfer it to his Samsung phone before sharing. This is fans picking up on how BTS had posted an anniversary message in June from an iPhone instead of an android device despite being the brand ambassadors of Samsung. One fan wrote, "Hobi sitting there transferring all his two year old videos of taehyung from his iphone to his samsung so he can tweet them for his birthday... i respect the commitment."

To this another fan responded, "I just know Hobi has them all categorized and organized in his photo gallery, with specific descriptions of each folder." This sentiment seemed to be shared by other fans too as they realized that the video that J-Hope had shared was from when they had worked on 'Fake Love'. One fan shared, "Hobi taking almost half an hour to find two year old video, wait What if he has separate albums made there just like ARMY, each for member.. " and another responded, "It does sound like something hobi would do."

Taehyung has been showered with love from across the globe by fans who even went as far as to buy an adspace in the Time Magazine and one on the Burj Khalifa that had shocked the world.
