Hoffman added, “The twins are D-I athletes, they're extremely fit, healthy, and exercise constantly, but there's also a process through the training to make sure you understand not only movements but safety. That fits to Hanna and I's brain and aligns greatly with us.”

A week prior, Haley reportedly said, “We love the WWE. Their fanbase, their sport, the fitness side of it. That fits to Hanna and I’s brain and aligns great with us. So yeah, we’re very excited about the future with them.”

A statement by the two read, “We would like to thank our teammates and coaches for bringing us in as family and being part of a historic season. With that being said, Hanna and I have decided to not take our fifth year and start a new chapter in our lives. The U will always be home and we are forever proud to be Hurricanes.”

In March, Hanna revealed, per The Guardian, that she loved “basketball." "I ride or die basketball. I’ve given basketball so much of my life. And sometimes I’m like, ‘I just want to breathe.’ I really just want to breathe. I want to live. I don’t want to be on a plan. I don’t want to be on a schedule. But at the end of the day, I’m so competitive in life that I don’t know if I’m going to regret it or not," she reportedly said.
