Brooklyn Beckham's ex Hana Cross slams him in breakup song for being mean and choosing Nicola Peltz over her
Brooklyn Beckham and Hana Cross never had the easiest of relationships, with their very messy arguments followed by very public displays of affection. And months after their relationship came to an end in August last year, Cross took to social media to voice a heartbreaking song about their split.
The 23-year-old model has penned an explosive breakup song, which slammed Beckham, 21, for casting her aside after their split.
Although she never mentioned her ex by name in the song, the lyrics left no doubts in anyone's minds as to who she was talking about. "I’m confused and I’m sad, I don’t know what I did but you said it wasn’t my fault but without reason how can I know? You broke my heart and said let’s be friends but I never heard from you again and that’s kind of mean. I saw us as meant to be and you saw me as temporary and that’s kind of rough," she sang as she played the guitar in a video.
She captioned the video: "Heyyyy don’t judge I’m not a singer or a guitarist lol but I’m taking this time during isolation to be creative and started writing some lyrics so I thought I would share what I have been working on so far and this is a piece from my first song so yeah hope you like it".
David and Victoria Beckham's son often got into intense spats with Cross during their relationship. In fact, the two of them got into such a bad fight in May last year, at the outdoor restaurant of the five star Hotel Martinez that security had to get involved to break them up.
It was reported that after Cross lashed out at him, the pair were "screaming and crying."
"It was all very dramatic. They went to Cannes for a few days, but started bickering almost straight away," a source close to Cross told the Sun. "Hana struggles with Brooklyn’s fame and money, and all that comes with dating a Beckham. They had had a couple of drinks and started trading insults. They are both still young, so of course, everything is very impassioned at that age."
David and Victoria were reportedly made aware of the row between the two. Both parents were extremely concerned about their son's relationship with Cross at the time, which had become a reason for disagreement between them and the aspiring photographer. Apparently the powerhouse family usually asked all their close associates to sign an NDA. However, when it came to Cross, Brooklyn refused to follow the standard practice.
After their breakup, however, Brooklyn did not waste much time in jumping into another relationship, this time with billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz. The pair are even self-isolating together in New York. Although they started dating only last year, there are rumors floating already that they are planning to get married pretty soon. Apparently, Brooklyn's mother has approved of his girlfriend and even given her blessings to the couple to settle down.
“Victoria thinks that Nicola is ideal marriage material,” a source close to the family said in February, Mirror reported. "She’s very impressed by her. Brooklyn has been so much calmer and happier since they have been dating. Victoria also is happy that because Nicola is wealthy in her own right, she isn’t after him for the wrong reasons."
