Hailey Bieber is 'sorry' after former NYC restaurant hostess gives her poor ratings for not speaking to staff
Hailey Bieber has apologized to a former New York restaurant hostess after she gave her a low rating in a TikTok video that went viral. Julia Carolan is a TikTok user who rates celebrities in her videos whom she met while working at a fancy Manhattan restaurant. And in one of her videos, she gave 3.5 stars out of 10 to Hailey based on a number of encounters “and every time she was not nice.” The viral video also caught the attention of the model and wife of Justin Bieber, who wrote her apology in the comment section of the clip. “Just came across this video, and wanted to say sorry if I’ve ever given you bad vibes or a bad attitude. That’s not ever my intention!” the 23-year-old said.
Carolan is new to TikTok, but due to her celebrity rating videos, she is going viral. Through her videos, she also shares her experience in the service industry, spills stories about the celebrities who came to the restaurant where she worked. Though it’s not known where Carolan works currently, she used to work as a hostess at one of TAO Group's restaurants while attending college. She also worked at Nobu Downtown for around ten months, The Daily Mail reported.
From Kendall Jenner to Beyonce, Carolan has rated a number of stars. Talking about Kendall, the woman said: “I did not have the best experience with (her). She used to come in all the time but was pretty cold toward staff. She also usually has someone speak for her and doesn't speak directly to staff. I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she's just shy?' Julia concludes with a skeptical facial expression, but rates her just 4/10.”
Carolan also rated Nick Jonas and gave him 8/10. She said, “He came in with his friends one time and he was really normal and chill. Not too much to report on this but he definitely seems like a nice guy,' she said in her complimentary assessment.” In her list, Josh Peck also did well as she gave him 10/10, who visited the restaurant with his wife Paige O'Brien for lunch. “I honestly think he's the nicest celebrity I've ever met. He fulfilled all my childhood dreams,” Carolan added.
But when it came to Beyonce, Carolan’s rate card moved beyond its own limitation as she gave the 38-year-old 10,000,000 out of 10. “We didn't speak too much. Her and Jay Z came in and I walked them to their table. But when she left she made sure to look at me and gave me a big smile and said thank you. She's beautiful,” the former hostess said.
An earlier video of Carolan has shown her rating social media Cameron Dallas, whom she rated 4 out of 10 for being demanding and entitled. “I kind of had a bad experience with him. Him and his friend called after we were closed and insisted on a table — and kind of pulled a 'do you know who I am' moment. He was rude,” she recalled.
But with Gigi and Bella Hadid, Carolan’s experience was quite nice. She gave the sisters 10/10 and said: “These two are literally so nice, I cannot say enough things about them. They're super polite and friendly with staff, which, unfortunately, is rare for celebrities.”
