Gwyneth Paltrow was one of the most prominent faces speaking out against sexual harassment in the film industry and one of the earliest to kickstart the #MeToo movement.

However, she recently admitted that she is 'less familiar' with issues of inequity in the industry even though she encouraged and acted as a catalyst for people to speak about Harvey Weinstein's many cases of sexual abuse and rape allegations. While speaking to Harper's Bazaar, Paltrow shared that she has worked her way to the top and is in that kind of space in the entertainment world where "no one's going to f***" with her.

Paltrow was one of the first women to speak about being harassed by Weinstein during a 2017 interview with the New York Times. "It's almost like it was the accumulation of so many years of this happening—and not to say that it doesn't happen anymore because it still does, especially in companies where women don't have a platform and there's still a lot of fear and hierarchy and intimidation," she had said.

She admitted that there is still a lot of inequality but less so in her immediate horizon. "It sounds funny to say, but I'm sort of less familiar with it in the entertainment world. Also, I think I've reached the status in that world where no one's going to f*** with me," Paltrow shared.

The 47-year-old also spoke about how comfortable she was to step back from acting to focus on her lifestyle brand 'Goop'. Netflix will be releasing a six-episode series titled 'The Goop Lab with Gwyneth Paltrow' in which we essentially see men and women test the waters. From Cold therapy and psychedelics to energy healing and psychics, a group of individuals discusses, dissects and experiences it all.

While they claim to be pushing boundaries, one has to remember that everything Paltrow and others explore in the show are choices that they have made. 'The Goop Lab' with Gwyneth Paltrow is scheduled to appear on Netflix on January 24.
