Gwen Stefani says 'making out' with husband Blake Shelton helped improve her mental health: 'I feel million times better'
TISHOMINGO, OKLAHOMA: Gwen Stefani recently spoke about her deep affection for her husband, Blake Shelton, in an interview. The renowned singer, known for hits like 'Hollaback Girl', discussed the aspects of her life that bring her immense joy and fulfillment, particularly those that hold no monetary value. While she claimed that she doesn't workout everyday, she did reveal how 'making out' with her husband Shelton makes her feel better.
As Stefani recently released her new track titled 'True Babe', it seems her love for Shelton has inspired her creative endeavors, further enriching her life and artistic expression. When asked about the non-materialistic elements that have enriched her life, Stefani emphasized the significance of love.
‘Spent my whole life trying to find true love’
In her response, Stefani expressed that love is the most significant aspect of her life, far surpassing any material wealth. "One thing in my life that is not like a money thing that makes my life rich, very, very rich, is obviously the most important thing, love," Stefani told Glamour magazine in an interview.
Referring to Shelton, she said, "And I know that sounds cliche, but I spent my whole life trying to find true love and I have it right now and it’s just been the most incredible thing. And I spent most of my life writing about heartache and now I’m writing about my love. It’s an amazing thing."
Shifting the conversation, Stefani shared that working on her mental health has been a priority for her. She revealed, "Honestly I have been writing a lot of music lately. I feel like that helps me so much with my mental health because a lot of thinking goes into it. Songs can cure you. I also think being creative helps me.”
'From prayer to exercise to making out with my husband'
Stefani openly admitted that she doesn't adhere to a daily gym routine and prefers a variety of exercises to stay active. She said, “I don’t exercise every day. I don’t wanna exercise every day, but when I do, I feel so much better. I’m talking about like a million times better. So I think that’s important. I think that just trying to find balance, you know, in everything, from prayer to exercise to making out with my husband, like all of it.”
'Having a family and being a mom are most important things'
In addition, Stefani discussed her role as a mother to her three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, whom she shares with her former partner Gavin Rossdale.
She expressed that having a loving family and being a mother are among the most significant aspects of her life, with no doubt in her mind about their importance. She said, "And I think being able to have, not just like romantic love, but having a family and being a mom and all of those things are just the most important things and there’s no doubt about it." The mention of "no doubt" was intended as a pun, referencing her former band.
