'Grey's Anatomy' star Kelly McCreary marries director Pete Chatmon in a beautiful beach wedding

McCreary, who plays the role of cardiologist Dr. Maggie Pierce in the medical drama aired on ABC, met Chatmon on the sets of their show 'Grey's Anatomy' and dated for two years before they tied the knot on Tuesday.

'Grey's Anatomy' actor Kelly McCreary got married to director Pete Chatmon on May 7. The couple took their vows at a beach wedding in the presence of family and friends and the actor shared pictures from the ceremony on her Instagram page. The pictures shared by the actor are of 37-year-old McCreary and 41-year-old Chatmon walking down the aisle after they made their vows and one of the two posing casually against a wall. The two also shared heartwarming messages along with the pictures. 

McCreary wrote, "Married, yo! In our favorite place, surrounded by beloved family and friends, and under the new moon. I am besieged by blessings. I love you, @petechatmon!! [sic]" while Chatmon shared, "Thankful For All That Came To Support A Weekend Of Love To My Love."

Before sharing the pictures from the wedding ceremony, Chatmon, on Monday, shared a video where he is seen dancing to a Jay-Z song at a reception. He captioned the video, "Married, Yo. Shouts To All In Attendance. #muchlove."

McCreary wore a beautiful form-fitting sleeveless white gown while Chatmon looked dapper in a tux which he paired it with sneakers.  McCreary, who plays the role of cardiologist Dr. Maggie Pierce in the medical drama aired on ABC met Chatmon on the sets of their show 'Grey's Anatomy' and dated for two years before they tied the knot on Tuesday. Other than directing episodes of 'Grey's Anatomy', Chatmon is also known for 'Insecure', 'Black-ish', and 'Atypical'.

Recently, McCreary's co-star Giacomo Gianniotti, who stars as Dr. Andrew DeLuca also got married to his fiance Nichole Gustafson. Their ceremony took place at Villa Pocci in Marino, Italy and it was a lavish affair. The couple also shared the news on their social media and shared pictures that seemed like something straight out of a fairytale before heading on their honeymoon to the Philippines.
