If you're a follower of the longest-running medical drama 'Grey's Anatomy' on ABC, you may know Caterina Scorsone as Dr Amelia Shepherd. In Season 16, her pregnancy storyline grabbed much attention and sparked quite a bit of frenzy among fans.

Isn't it funny then that the actress recently gave birth to her third baby in real life too? On New Year's Eve, Scorsone shared the delightful piece of news along with a picture of her baby girl, Arwen.

In the picture, the bundle of joy can be seen sleeping next to Scorsone's seven-year-old daughter Eliza. She wrote, "Arwen is here! Our family wishes you a happy new year, a happy new decade and a happy heart made new by love in every exquisite moment." This is her third child for the 38-year-old actress with her husband, singer-songwriter Rob Giles after Eliza and two-year-old Pippa.

Her 'Grey's Anatomy' co-stars also took to Instagram to send a note of congratulations and show some love. While Greg Germann, who plays Tom Koracick, wrote, "Congratulations!!" Kate Walsh, who played Dr Addison Adrianne Forbes Montgomery, commented, "Arwen! [heart emoji]." There was a comment from the official account of Shondaland too, which read, "Congrats, mama!! She’s already so loved."

Sarah Drew, who played Dr April Kepner and recently left the ABC medical drama, wrote, "So beautiful!!!!!" Jeanine Mason, who had a recurring role as Dr Sam Bello, said, "Congrats you gorgeous family! Sending you a giant hug." Peyton Kennedy, who was known as Betty Nelson in the drama series, commented, "So much love to you and the family."
