What made 'Greatness Code' a breezy-yet-impactful unscripted sports shorts were the athletes it picked. Couple this with some innovative graphics, a crisp duration, and some perfect music, the Apple TV+ series ensured it deserved a second season. Now that it does have a new installment rolling out in May with a slew of new faces, it does stick to the formula that worked, only this time, the episodes span around the ten-minute mark.

The first season saw the likes of LeBron James, Tom Brady, Alex Morgan, Kelly Slater, Shaun White, Usain Bolt, and Katie Ledecky explain the one instance that turned a switch on in their decorated careers. 'Greatness Code' Season 2 picks up where it left off by picking another star-studded roster of athletes that include Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson, NASCAR quick Bubba Wallace, six-time X Games gold medallist Leticia Bufoni, Parapan American Track & Field star Scout Bassett and Olympic winner, Lindsey Vonn.

The series was all about that one moment in every athlete's life and what makes them tick. For Rashford, it was about striving for greatness, and similarly, each athlete has his or her own story that plays a crucial part in their rise to the top.  Produced for the streamer by Religion of Sports and Uninterrupted, the docu-shirts is helmeD in entirety by Gotham Chopra, the man behind Russell Westbrook's 'Passion Play' that opened some rave reviews last year. Whether it changed perceptions after his tumultuous time with the Los Angeles Lakers can be debated.

'Greatness Code' Season 2 is that burst of mental pre-workout every person can use. Borrowing from this author's review of the previous season, this one is a quick snippet that works wonders even for vaulting obstacles in everyday life, even if you're not an athlete. This surely must be on every sports buff's watchlist.
